Role Description The Civil Engineer will work in the studio and visit sites on need, in a full-time capacity, collaborating with architects and other design professionals to manage projects and quantity survey tasks for a variety of building and interior projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing civil engineering designs, drawings, and calculations; supporting site planning, grading, and infrastructure layouts; and coordinating structural and civil elements with architectural plans. The role involves assessing stormwater management requirements, drainage systems, and utility provisions to ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable project execution. The Civil Engineer will participate in site visits, inspections,



and coordination meetings, inspect construction progress periodically for compliance with design and local regulations, and support cost estimates, technical documentation, and quality control. The position also requires clear communication with project stakeholders and contribution to continuous improvement in design processes and standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering fundamentals.
- Candidates should possess skills in Planning and site layout for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
- Candidates should possess skills in Stormwater Management and related drainage and utility design.
- Candidates should possess experience working as Civil Engineers in multidisciplinary project teams.
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Proficiency in relevant design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar), and familiarity with local building codes and standards.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and safety-focused decision-making.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for coordination with architects, consultants, and site teams.
- Experience with sustainable design practices and interest in environmentally responsible development is an advantage.
