Solution Architect (GE Proficy / TrakSYS) - Hybrid Manufacturing

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with expertise in GE Proficy and/or TrakSYS MES to lead digital manufacturing and smart factory initiatives across Consumer Products, Retail, and Distribution organizations. This role combines manufacturing domain expertise, MES solution architecture, shop-floor integration, and consulting capabilities to deliver scalable, connected, and data-driven manufacturing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

. Lead solution architecture, design, and implementation of GE Proficy and/or TrakSYS MES platforms.

. Collaborate with business and manufacturing stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable MES and MOM solutions.

. Configure and implement capabilities including Production Management, Quality Management, Traceability, OEE Monitoring, Performance Management, Electronic Work Instructions, and Process Execution.

. Design integrations between MES, ERP (SAP, Oracle, etc.), WMS, SCADA, PLCs, Historians, and enterprise data platforms.

. Drive manufacturing digitization initiatives focused on operational excellence, process optimization, and smart factory transformation.

. Lead solution design workshops, architecture reviews, testing, deployment planning, and go-live activities.

. Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain,



Quality, Operations, and IT teams to ensure successful solution delivery.

. Define MES governance standards, best practices, and implementation methodologies aligned with ISA-95 and MOM frameworks.

. Enable Industry 4.0 use cases including real-time monitoring, advanced analytics, connected workforce, and manufacturing intelligence.

. Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architecture governance across project teams.

Ideal Candidate Profile

. 10-15 years of experience in MES, Manufacturing IT, Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM), or Digital Manufacturing.

. Hands-on experience implementing and architecting GE Proficy and/or TrakSYS MES solutions.

. Strong understanding of hybrid manufacturing processes within Consumer Products, FMCG, Food & Beverage, Retail, or Distribution industries.

. Experience integrating MES with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle, along with shop-floor systems and automation technologies.

. Robust knowledge of ISA-95, OEE, MOM, Manufacturing Execution Systems, and Industry 4.0 frameworks.

. Experience with SQL, APIs, industrial communication protocols, reporting, and manufacturing analytics.

. Familiarity with industrial automation systems including PLCs, SCADA, Historians, and plant connectivity architectures.

. Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, consulting, and leadership skills.
