Role Purpose
nThe Plant Manager is responsible for end-to-end plant operations, ensuring safe, compliant, effective, and cost-effective manufacturing of chemical products. The role leads production, maintenance, quality, EHS, and logistics teams to deliver production targets, regulatory compliance, continuous improvement, and workforce capability development.

n Key Responsibilities
n1. Operations & Production
nLead day-to-day plant operations to meet production, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
nEnsure optimal utilization of manpower, equipment, utilities, and raw materials.
nDevelop and track production plans, KPIs, and dashboards (OEE/OPE, yield, downtime, losses, MPSA).
nDrive process stability, batch consistency, and throughput improvement.
nManage complex reaction (Latex/Solution Polymers) operation

n2. Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)
nEnsure strict compliance with statutory, environmental, and safety regulations (Factories Act, PESO, PCB, IMS certification, NSF, etc.).
nPromote a zero-incident safety culture through training, audits,
and leadership engagement.
nLead HAZOP, risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
nEnsure proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous chemicals and waste.

n3. Quality & Compliance
nEnsure compliance with IMS standards / customer quality standards.
nOversee process control, batch documentation, deviations, and CAPA.
nCoordinate customer audits, internal audits / compliances, regulatory inspections, and certifications.

n4. Maintenance & Reliability
nOversee preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance programs.
nImprove equipment reliability, MTBF, and uptime.
nEnsure availability of critical spares and effective shutdown planning.
n
n5. Cost, Budget & Productivity
nPrepare and manage plant budgets, operating costs, and capex proposals.
nDrive cost reduction initiatives without compromising safety or quality.
nMonitor energy, utilities
