Senior Colour Designer

Job Purpose

Lead comprehensive color service delivery and customer consultation excellence while managing specialized color services, shade card development, and color studio operations

Strategic Context & Scope

Business Impact:Color service excellence across all customer consultation touchpoints with direct responsibility for specialized color services, shade card development, and color studio operations supporting customer decision-making and satisfaction.

Core Competencies Required

Color Service Expertise:Advanced knowledge of color consultation, customer service delivery, color matching, and personalized color recommendation methodologies

Design & Creative Skills:Expertise in color design, visual presentation, photography, and creative asset development for color communication

Customer Consultation:Robust capabilities in customer interaction, needs assessment, solution development, and satisfaction assurance

Technical Color Knowledge:Understanding of color science, product specifications, color accuracy, and technical color applications

Key Result Areas & Strategic Accountabilities

1. Specialized Color Service Delivery

- Color Snap Service Excellence:Manage comprehensive Color Snap service delivery ensuring 2-day turnaround time, quality recommendations, and customer satisfaction
- SFA Integration:Coordinate Color Snap service with Sales Force Automation systems maintaining process efficiency and lead conversion tracking
- Service Quality Monitoring:Monitor color recommendation quality through customer feedback, conversion tracking, and service impact analysis




- Performance Reporting:Generate quarterly reports on service performance, lead-to-sale conversions, and customer satisfaction metrics

2. Shade Card Development & Product Support

- Product-Specific Shade Cards:Curate and develop product-specific shade cards using insights from product and marketing teams
- Color Validation:Validate digital and print colors for Allwood and other product categories ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Shade Card Innovation:Develop unique shade card formats and content enhancing customer color selection experience
- Content Finalization:Finalize shade card content ensuring brand consistency, technical accuracy, and customer usability

3. Color Studio Operations & Content Creation

- Studio Management:Manage in-house color studio operations including photography, content creation, and visual asset development
- Photography & Art Direction:Conduct professional photoshoots, provide art direction, and edit images using advanced editing tools including AI
- Content Archiving:Maintain comprehensive color content archive and enhance e-commerce product listings with high-quality visual assets
- Training Material Creation:Create color training materials, presentations, and visual aids supporting internal and external training programs

4. Customer Color Consultation & Support

- Expert Consultation:Provide specialized color consultation services for complex projects, high-value customers, and technical color requirements
- Customer Education:Develop customer education initiatives covering color selection, application techniques, and maintenance guidance
- Solution Development:Create customized color solutions addressing specific customer needs, project requirements, and design objectives
- Customer Satisfaction:Ensure superior customer satisfaction through expert service delivery, follow-up processes, and continuous improvement
