Role Description This full-time Mechanical Engineer role at Tastra Foods is a hybrid position based in Hyderabad, with flexibility for some work-from-home tasks. The Mechanical Engineer will design, develop, and optimize mechanical systems and components for food vending machines, focusing on reliability, safety, and ease of maintenance. Daily responsibilities include creating and reviewing CAD models and drawings, performing mechanical calculations, conducting prototyping and testing, and troubleshooting issues in existing machines.



The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams such as manufacturing, quality, and operations, managing engineering projects from concept to implementation, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor. The Mechanical Engineer will also document designs, adhere to relevant standards and regulations, and provide technical support for installations and field issues.
Qualifications

Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with the ability to apply core principles to electromechanical and automated vending systems.
Skills in Machine Design and Research and Development (R&D;) to develop robust, creative mechanisms and improve existing products.
Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling, detailed drawings, and design revisions.
Experience in Project Management, including planning, coordination with stakeholders, and meetin
