Role Description The Audit Executive role at VirtuAxel is a full time, on-site position based in Mangaluru. The Audit Executive will review and verify financial records, prepare and analyze audit reports, and ensure compliance with relevant tax and regulatory requirements, including GST. This role involves examining financial statements, identifying discrepancies, assessing internal controls, and recommending improvements to processes and documentation. The Audit Executive will collaborate with accounting, tax, and HR teams to support client engagements, respond to queries, and maintain accurate and timely audit documentation. The position also requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and contributing to the firm’s commitment to high-quality, reliable client service.
Qualifications
Ability to prepare, review, and interpret audit reports and related documentation.
Strong analytical skills for identifying issues, trends, and process improvements.




Knowledge of Goods and Services Tax (GST) and related compliance requirements.
Understanding of finance principles and corporate financial practices.
Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting financial statements.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional qualifications (e.g., CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
Experience in audit, assurance, or financial compliance roles, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
Comfort working with accounting and tax software, spreadsheets, and standard office productivity tools.
