Our client company is a leading global healthcare sourcing and supply chain company specializing in the procurement and distribution of pharmaceutical products, medical devices, and hospital consumables for international healthcare organizations, governments, and institutional customers.

Reports to: Procurement Manager

Role Summary:
Looking for a procurement professional with experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industrywho can managesupplier sourcing, vendor development, RFQs, price negotiations, purchase orders, and supplier coordination. The candidate should have experience working with Indian suppliers, coordinating with Quality and Logistics teams, and ensuring timely procurement of products while complying with procurement policies and quality standards..

Key Requirements:

- Manage procurement activities in compliance with company policies, SOPs, and quality standards.
- Source and evaluate suppliers for pharmaceutical and healthcare products.
- Float RFQs (Request for Quotations), compare quotations, and negotiate with Indian suppliers.
- Prepare purchase orders through the ERP system and ensure timely order processing.
- Coordinate with Quality, Logistics,



and other internal departments for smooth procurement operations.
- Maintain supplier database, pricing records, and procurement documentation.
- Prepare procurement budgets and price estimates for Indian suppliers.
- Support product sourcing, alternative product identification, and supplier development.
- Conduct supplier evaluations and on-site audits to assess quality and compliance.
- Monitor purchase order execution and assist inbound procurement activities.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve supplier-related issues.
- Support procurement team training and provide backup during colleagues absence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a multicultural workplace.
- Perform additional procurement-related tasks assigned by the Procurement Manager.

Desired Candidate:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field.
- 6+ yearsof procurement experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or medical device industry..
- Experience in sourcing Indian suppliers and vendor management.
