Job Overview: Support, operate, and maintain Red Hat OpenShift (OCP 4.X) clusters in production and non-production: day-to-day administration, incident management, application support, monitoring, and coordination with L3, DevOps, and application teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day OCP 4.X administration;
RBAC, users, projects/namespaces.
- Manage pods, services, routes, PVCs, ConfigMaps, Secrets;
deployments via YAML/Helm.
- L2 support: pod failures, image pull errors, CrashLoopBackOff, node issues;
log analysis via oc/cluster logging.
- Cluster health, node status, resource utilization;
scaling (HPA/manual), rolling updates.
- Cluster upgrades and patching under L3 guidance;
registry and runtime operations.
- RBAC/ServiceAccounts/SCCs, Secrets, TLS certificates, namespace isolation.
- CI/CD support (Jenkins, GitLab, Argo CD);
Prometheus/Grafana/Alertmanager monitoring and RCA.
- SOPs, runbooks, on-call and shift rotation participation.




- Prepare operational reports, capacity/utilization inputs and service metrics.
- Ensure SLA compliance, audit readiness and RBI/security policy adherence.
- Maintain SOPs, runbooks, KB articles and operational documentation.
- Coordinate with OEMs/vendors and internal teams for issue resolution.
- Support DR drills, patching, vulnerability remediation and preventive maintenance.
- Participate in RCA preparation for Priority incidents.
- Follow Incident, Problem, Change and Service Request Management processes.

Technical Skills: OCP 4.X, Kubernetes (Deployments/Services/Routes/Ingress, ConfigMaps/Secrets/PVCs), Linux, oc CLI, YAML, container troubleshooting;
Ansible/Shell basics.
Certifications: Preferred: Red Hat EX280. Coverage Model: 24×7 shifts (3-FTE roster).
