Job Description – MES Consultant (Apriso / Siemens Opcenter) – Automotive

nRole Summary
nWe are looking for an experienced MES Consultant with expertise in DELMIA Apriso and/or Siemens Opcenter to lead MES implementations and digital manufacturing initiatives for automotive clients. The candidate should have solid knowledge of discrete manufacturing processes, MES solution design, integration, and deployment.
nKey Responsibilities
nLead MES implementation and enhancement projects using Apriso and/or Siemens Opcenter.
nGather business requirements and translate them into MES solutions.
nConfigure and customize MES modules such as Production, Quality, Traceability, Work Instructions, and OEE.
nIntegrate MES with SAP ERP, PLM, SCADA, PLCs, and other shop-floor systems.
nSupport testing, deployment, go-live, and post-production support activities.
nCollaborate with business, manufacturing, and IT stakeholders to drive process improvements.




nProvide technical guidance and mentor junior team members.
nRequired Skills
n8–10 years of experience in MES/Manufacturing IT.
nHands-on experience with DELMIA Apriso and/or Siemens Opcenter Execution Discrete.
nGood understanding of automotive manufacturing processes (Assembly, Body Shop, Paint Shop, Powertrain).
nExperience with MES-ERP integration, preferably SAP.
nKnowledge of SQL, APIs/Web Services, and manufacturing system architecture.
nFamiliarity with ISA-95 and Industry 4.0 concepts.
nPreferred Qualifications
nBachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or related field.
nExperience working with Automotive OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers.
nStrong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
