Internal Processes

- Set and monitor the performance of the plant equipment s against standards and targets in areas such as equipment uptime, MTTR, MTBF etc.
- Support audits of FSSC 22000, ISO, FSSAI, EHS, and other related standards
- Responsible for meeting established operating budgets; monitor the cost and effectiveness of engineering activities to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and achieve targeted OEE for the plant.
- Ensure high levels of productivity & engagement within Technical Crew & Ops teams
- Ensure plant wastage due to equipment breakdowns are to the minimum as per targets
- To set and monitor performance of Maintenance & engineering stores.
- To set and monitor Calibration of equipment s including those related to Legal metrology.
- To lead Condition Monitoring &Plant; Preventive Maintenance of all Machines.
- To drive trainings to develop engineering skills of the plant team in way of Autonomous maintenance.
- To ensure and drive systems such as Root cause analysis, Corrective action, and preventive action system in place to ensure continuous improvement.
- To drive closure of Safety and quality requirements of the factory.
- To overview Spares Planning & Procurement, Vendor selection and performance evaluation.
- Should be able to interact with internal stakeholders like production, Safety, quality, HR and resolve the issues in day-to-day activities.
- Drive / collaborate in Improvement Initiatives PI, QC, Kaizen, 5S etc. to improve the plant efficiency.
- To monitor capex spends, cashflow and ensure to meet the capex target timelines




- Responsible for Equipment Maintenance & Utility performance /maintenance (Extruder /VFFS /PFS packing machine/ Motors /Pump/Boiler /Air Compressor /Nitrogen Plant /RO/STP plant /Fire pump )
- Set and monitor the performance of the plant equipment s against standards and targets in areas such as equipment uptime, MTTR, MTBF etc.
- Ensure high levels of productivity & engagement within Technical Crew teams.
- To Support in Project activities of the plant.

Innovation and Learning

- Review Safety, Health, Hygiene, and other Food Safety compliances for the unit.
- Lead projects Mainly on NPD, packaging changes & Value based reengineering, technology upgradation etc.
- Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans and conferring with management.
- Completes technical studies and prepares cost estimates.
- Confirms product performance against targets / expectations.
- Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements. Prepares project status reports..

What are the Critical success factors for the Role

- B. Tech/BE in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electrical & Instrumentation
- 3-5 years of Maintenance / Projects experience in a reputed Food & Beverages /Brewery organization.
- Experience in managing Engineering within Manufacturing Operations & Experience in Maintenance of Mechanical, Electrical, Civil & instrumentation areas, especially in Food Packaging Industry,
- Computer proficiency with CAD, MS office, SAP, required.

What are the Desirable success factors for the Role

- Knowledge of Food industry (Biscuits / Muesli / Extrusion process/VFFS /PFS Packing machine /Utility Air compressor/RO /Nitrogen plant /Cooling tower/ Boiler)
- Positive communication skills (English / Hindi / Kannada)
- Proven experience in a managerial role heading Engineering and Engineering projects within a factory.
- Good in Manpower Management Skills
- Strong management skills.
