Job Title: Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Oracle PL/SQL Lead to join our agile team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL development, performance tuning, and database optimization. Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain complex stored procedures to handle data integration from 6-7 tables into a consolidated table.
- Ensure high performance and efficiency of all database operations.
- Analyze and optimize database queries and structures to improve performance.
- Create indexes, partitions, and other database optimizations as necessary.
- Implement data validation, transformation, and cleansing logic within stored procedures.
- Collaborate with business analysts and data teams to understand requirements and ensure accurate data mapping.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and errors in SQL code.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and provide timely fixes.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver database solutions aligned with business goals.
- Clearly communicate technical concepts and project progress to stakeholders.





Technical Skills Required:

- 9-12 years of hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
- Proficient in designing and optimizing stored procedures, views, and materialized views.
- Strong knowledge of database indexing, partitioning, and performance tuning techniques.
- Experience in working with large datasets and integrating data from multiple tables.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle SQL Plus (CLI).
- Familiarity with Oracle Database 19c/21c.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and tools.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data requirements and build database solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues efficiently.

Preferred Skills:

- Oracle Certification (e.g., Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate or higher) is a plus.
- Familiarity with data migration, data warehousing, or similar projects is an advantage.
- Experience with database administration and monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of cloud database platforms (e.g., Oracle Cloud, AWS RDS) is a plus.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and deliver results.
