Key Responsibilities Architect design develop and maintain complex CMSbased web solutions across multiple platforms including WordPress Drupal Joomla Contentful Strapi or similar CMS frameworks Lead custom theme and plugin development module development and CMS core customizations for complex enterprise and hightraffic digital publishing requirements Design and implement headless and decoupled CMS architectures integrating CMS platforms with up-to-date frontend frameworks such as React Next js Vue js or Angular via REST or GraphQL APIs Define and enforce CMS development standards coding best practices performance optimization guidelines and security hardening protocols across the development team Lead technical architecture reviews code reviews and platform evaluation exercises for CMS selection and migration decisions Manage and execute CMS platform migrations version upgrades and multisite implementations for largescale enterprise web properties Integrate CMS platforms with thirdparty systems including CRM ERP marketing automation analytics CDN and ecommerce platforms through APIs and custom connectors Optimize CMS platform performance including page load speed database query optimization caching strategies and CDN configuration for hightraffic websites Ensure CMS implementations comply with web security standards including OWASP guidelines data privacy regulations and enterprise security policies Mentor and guide junior and midlevel CMS developers on platform best practices architecture decisions and development standards
