Senior Financial Controller / Group Finance Manager Location: Thrissur, Kerala, India Reporting To: Managing Director Functional Coordination: Chief Financial Officer (Saudi Arabia) Experience: 20+ Years About the Role We are seeking a highly accomplished and strategic finance leader to oversee the complete financial management of a diversified business group with operations across India and the GCC. This role combines the responsibilities of a Senior Financial Controller and Group Finance Manager, providing leadership in financial planning, treasury, banking, investments, statutory compliance, financial reporting, auditing, and corporate governance. The successful candidate will partner closely with the Managing Director while coordinating with the CFO based in Saudi Arabia to ensure strong financial controls, business growth, effective treasury management, and strategic decision-making across the Group's diverse business portfolio. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Budgeting Lead the Group's annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes. Develop financial strategies aligned with the Group's business objectives. Monitor budget performance and analyze variances. Drive profitability, cost optimization, and operational efficiency across all business units. Support business expansion and investment decisions through financial analysis. Treasury, Banking & Fund Management Lead the Group's treasury operations, liquidity planning, and cash flow management. Manage working capital and optimize fund allocation across businesses. Build and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions. Negotiate banking facilities, loans, overdrafts, guarantees, trade finance, and other financial instruments. Monitor financing requirements for ongoing operations and future expansion.



Investment Management Develop and monitor the Group's investment strategy. Evaluate investment opportunities and financial risks. Oversee corporate investments and financial assets. Manage the personal financial accounts and investment portfolio of the Managing Director/Owner with complete confidentiality and professionalism. Financial Reporting & MIS Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Consolidate financial reports from all business entities. Present MIS reports, dashboards, cash flow reports, profitability analyses, and KPIs to the Managing Director and CFO. Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making. Audit, Compliance & Internal Controls Lead statutory, internal, tax, and management audits. Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards, taxation laws, corporate regulations, and internal policies. Develop and strengthen internal financial controls and risk management systems. Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, legal advisors, and regulatory authorities. Ensure timely completion of all statutory and financial reporting requirements. Group Finance Management Provide financial oversight, governance, and strategic support for: Gold Jewellery (Core Business) GCC Operations across Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Oman Hotel Business (working closely with the Accounting Manager)



Two Restaurant Businesses located in Thrissur District Jewellery Export Division (working closely with the Accounts In-Charge) Personal financial accounts and investments of the Managing Director/Owner Leadership & Stakeholder Management Act as the Group Finance Leader for all business entities. Work closely with the Managing Director on financial strategy, investments, and business expansion. Coordinate regularly with the CFO based in Saudi Arabia on GCC operations and financial reporting. Lead, mentor, and develop finance and accounts teams across the Group. Standardize financial policies, reporting systems, and internal controls. Drive finance transformation, automation, and process improvements. Desired Candidate Profile Educational Qualification Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred. CMA, MBA (Finance), M.Com, or equivalent professional qualification will also be considered. Experience Minimum 20 years of progressive experience in Finance, Treasury, Financial Control, and Group Finance Management. Experience managing finance for multi-diversified business groups is mandatory. Proven expertise in budgeting, treasury management, banking, fund management, investment management, financial reporting, auditing, compliance, and strategic financial planning. Hands-on experience managing financial operations in both GCC countries (preferably Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Oman) and Kerala/India is mandatory. Robust knowledge of Indian GST, Income Tax, TDS, ROC compliance, statutory audits, financial regulations, and Kerala-specific commercial and statutory compliance requirements. Good understanding of GCC VAT regulations, banking systems, treasury operations, and financial reporting practices. Experience handling multiple legal entities and cross-border financial operations under a single corporate group.
