About the role:

The candidate will be responsible for designing scalable Python applications, optimizing performance, integrating AI/Computer Vision solutions, and deploying them on Edge AI hardware and cloud environments. The role requires robust backend engineering skills along with experience in Computer Vision, distributed systems, and hardware-aware optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop efficient, scalable, and reusable Python-based architectures.
- Optimize system performance using multithreading and multiprocessing techniques.
- Collaborate with AI teams to enhance Computer Vision algorithms for speed and memory efficiency.
- Adapt applications for deployment on Edge AI hardware and cloud environments.
- Develop and maintain Pub/Sub-based distributed systems using RabbitMQ or Redis.
- Ensure smooth and reliable data flow between Edge devices and backend systems.
- Build robust solutions while maintaining code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
- Take ownership of technical deliverables and independently drive development tasks.

Required Skills:

- Strong expertise in Python development and Python internals (Decorators, Generators, Context Managers, Type Hinting).




- Excellent understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and problem-solving techniques.
- Experience working with Linux environments.
- Hands-on experience with NVIDIA Jetson Edge AI platforms.
- Proficiency in NumPy, Pandas, and OpenCV.
- Experience with RabbitMQ, Redis, or similar messaging systems.
- Knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB/Redis).
- Understanding of C++ integration with Python or low-level Python optimization.
- Basic understanding of image processing concepts and workflows.
- Strong analytical mindset with a high level of ownership and accountability.

Preferred Skills:

- Hands-on experience with OpenCV-based image processing solutions.
- Understanding of GNSS, GPS, and Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs).
- Experience working in AI/ML-driven environments.
- Expertise in FastAPI or other modern asynchronous Python frameworks.
- Experience building high-performance and edge-computing applications.
