What You'll Work On
Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other short-form videos.
Work with raw footage provided by clients and the internal team.
Create engaging cuts, transitions, subtitles, text animations and suitable effects.
Add music, sound effects and other elements where appropriate.
Edit videos according to the brand, audience and purpose — not using the same style for every client.
Follow references, trends and current short-form content formats.
Make basic adjustments to pacing, framing, colour and audio.
Create different versions/formats when required for different platforms.
Take feedback and make revisions accurately.
Organise raw footage, project files and final exports properly.
Coordinate with the Social Media Manager and content team for upcoming requirements.
What We Expect
You don't need to be an expert editor.
But you should be able to:
Understand why a particular edit works, not just how to use editing software.
Have a good sense of pacing and storytelling.
Understand what makes a Reel watchable.
Follow instructions properly.




Take feedback without repeatedly making the same mistakes.
Deliver work within deadlines.
Manage multiple small editing requirements when needed.
Be willing to learn and improve quickly.
Tools
Experience with any of the following is practical:
CapCut | Premiere Pro | VN | DaVinci Resolve | After Effects
You don't need to know every tool. Editing ability matters more than the number of software names on your resume.
