About the Role

ME-Engineers is looking for a Mechanical BIM Engineer to join our Chennai team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, good knowledge of BIM tools, and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and coordinate mechanical BIM models using Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
Perform pipe and duct modelling, including basic sizing.
Prepare Revit sheets, views, and templates.
Create and manage Revit schedules.
Coordinate mechanical models with structural, architectural, electrical, and other disciplines.
Perform mechanical calculations, including:
Load calculations using TRACE or HAP
Pump head calculations
Expansion tank calculations
Static pressure calculations
Ventilation calculations
Refrigerant calculations
Perform model checking and maintain QA/QC standards.
Review and support technical submittals.
Identify and resolve coordination issues and model clashes using Navisworks.
Support project teams in delivering accurate and coordinated BIM models within project timelines.




Required Skills
Excellent communication skills – Mandatory
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
Good understanding of Mechanical/HVAC BIM modelling.
Knowledge of pipe and duct modelling and sizing.
Understanding of Revit sheet setup, view creation, templates, and schedules.
Knowledge of multidisciplinary coordination.
Understanding of mechanical/HVAC calculations.
Knowledge of QA/QC processes and BIM standards.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Preferred / Additional Skills
Knowledge of COMcheck / EnergyPro will be an added advantage.
Exposure to international projects and BIM workflows will be an advantage.
Candidate Profile
BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
0–3 years of relevant experience in Mechanical BIM/HVAC.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Positive attention to detail.
Willingness to learn and work on multidisciplinary projec
