ABOUT THE ROLE
We call it Solution Engineering — pairing a well-made commutator with application engineering built around the customer's actual end use. This Design Engineer / Application Engineer / NPD Engineer role owns that second half, across our commutator and slip ring range and into PMDC, BLDC, universal motor and appliance applications.





WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Take a customer drawing, sample or motor specification and assess manufacturability
• Prepare and manage all technical drawings
• Run programs through feasibility, design freeze, prototype, trial and PPAP submission
• Prepare APQP deliverables — design FMEA, control plan inputs, drawing packs — for Quality review and approval
• Produce and review GD&T-correct; 2D production drawings and 3D models
• Maintain revision discipline, obsolescence control and a clean drawing-to-part-number map
• Handle direct technical discussion with OEM engineering teams on application requirements
• Raise and negotiate deviation requests and tolerance changes with supporting data
• Work with process and tool engineering so designs are mouldable, curable, turnable and slot-cuttable at volume

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
• BE / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Diploma with strong hands-on NPD experie
