What are we looking for?

At Checkmarx, we are a Research & Development team responsible for developing Plugins & Integrations that bring the capabilities of CheckmarxOne, our cloud-native AppSec platform to common developer workflows and pipelines (IDEs and CI/CD platforms).

We are looking for an enthusiastic Software Development Engineer in Test with proven experience in manual as well automated testing.

How will you make an impact?​

In this role you will be responsible for:​

- Working closely with Product Management, architects, and developers
- Understanding the business and technical requirements of existing and new products & features.
- Writing test plans, running manual and automated tests
- Developing new automation tests
- Maintaining & managing existing automation projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Requirements:

What is needed to succeed?

- MCA or B.E.



in Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
- 0 to 1 year of SDET experience, including both manual and automated testing.
- Prior knowledge/experience in one of automation testing frameworks: Cypress/Selenium/Playwright – will be a plus.
- Any one of the programming languages for test automation: JS/Golang/Java/Python/C#.
- Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Experience working in contemporary Agile methodologies (Scrum, CI/CD, TDD, etc.) – advantage.
- Practical experience with configuration and maintenance of CI environments – advantage
- Able to work independently, self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized.
- Analytic approach for troubleshooting and problem solving.
- Excellent English communication capabilities (verbal and writing).
