The Data Analyst plays a key role in technological decision making for business teams future data, analysis and reporting needs. The role supports the business's daily operations, and the role is to guide the business in identifying any new data needs and deliver mechanisms for acquiring and reporting such information as well as addressing the actual needs. Design/Strategy : The Data Analyst designs and supports the business's reporting needs using any BI tools. Collaboration : The role that the Data Analyst plays is highly collaborative and, as such, works closely with Data engineers and business analysts within the business. Analytics : Data Analyst plays a key role in analyzing business requirements for reporting and subsequently translating the emanating results into good technical data designs.Job Description : - Gather requirements, create user stories, resolve solution gaps, model dashboards, and build standardized data visualization models to deliver sustainable, effective, and productive reporting and analytical solutions. - The Candidate will be expected to collaborate closely with various teams within as well as other key partners and demonstrate strong technical capabilities.



- Analyze and deliver new reports - working directly with business stakeholders across all functions, evaluate business requirements and develop Power BI solutions. Strong communication skills are required to solicit the requirements and communicate with non-technical business stakeholders effectively.- Development of technical solutions - Responsible for development of technical solutions needed to provide an effective and efficient data and analysis solution that can support the business. This includes the creation of certified data sets, knowledge of data structures, ability to join/integrate tables to provide the necessary data for analytics and/or reporting. - Identifying opportunities to catalogue, streamline and improve data and analysis solutions. - Helping analysts utilize the tools in the most efficient and effective manner- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets - Familiarity with Data Cleaning; Data Wrangling; Data profiling; Data Mining- Build statistical models, logic towards making better business decisions - Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques - Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze,



and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Proficiency in SQL, R / Python - Knowledge of data mining techniques like time series forecasting regression, classification and clustering techniques is a plus- Strong experience of working with APIs and integrating multiple applications together - Experience in using Business Intelligence tools such as : Power BI, Tableau, Qlik (Any BI tools)- Experience of working with Data Warehousing Technologies like SAP BW, Data Lake, SAP B/4 Hana is a plus - In depth knowledge of Business Objects. Ability to write queries and reports to extract data- Use statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful business reports, Use data to create models that depict trends or othersMust Have- Hands on SQL, Advanced Excel, Python / R (Intermediate to Advance level)- Data Storytelling/ Visualization - Business intelligence and reporting knowledge (any of BI tool)- Positive to have - Data Mining, Data Wrangling, Data Profiling, Data Modelling knowledge - Good Communication skills- Proven Analytic skills including mining, exploratory analysis, evaluation, and statistical modelling - Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations- Interest & ability to learn other analytic solutions and tools (ref:hirist.com)
