JOB SUMMARY:

As an Embedded Firmware Engineer, you will own the full development lifecycle for high-reliability, 32-bit SoC, SoM,



and microcontroller platforms powering our flight systems and payloads. You will work at the hardware-software boundary—architecting boot flows, designing custom device drivers, and developing register-level code built to withstand extreme operational constraints.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with hardware, systems, and mission engineering teams. Your core success metrics center on system uptime, zero-defect firmware builds, hardware-in-the-loop validation accuracy, and adherence to safety-critical aerospace coding standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Firmware Architecture & Design: Architect, develop, and test low-level embedded firmware for 32-bit SoCs, SoMs, and MCUs (ARM Cortex-M/A) deployed on orbital hardware.
Low-Level Hardware Integration: Write register-level drivers, custom bootloaders, and Board Support Packages (BSPs) while optimizing memory mapping and interrupt handling.
Communication & Protocol Implementation: Develop and validate
