Role Description The Ladies Buyer is a full-time, in office role based in Siliguri, responsible for planning, selecting, and purchasing women’s apparel and related lifestyle products that align with A1 Bazaar’s value-fashion positioning.



Day-to-day tasks include analyzing customer preferences and sales trends, identifying gaps in the assortment, and sourcing suitable products from vendors that meet price, quality, and style expectations. The role involves negotiating with suppliers, managing purchase orders and delivery timelines, and coordinating closely with merchandising, store operations, and visual merchandising teams to ensure the right product mix is available in stores. The Ladies Buyer also monitors inventory levels, supports seasonal planning and promotions, and regularly reviews performance of women’s categories to optimize margins and customer satisfaction. This position requires hands-on market visits, competitor checks, and active collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain a vibrant, customer-centric range for women shoppers.
