Data Modeler — Power BI, Databricks & Microsoft Fabric

We are looking for a Data Modeler to review and improve the existing data models behind Power BI reports. The reports source data from Databricks Unity Catalog and Databricks SQL Warehouse.

Required Skill Set

Strong experience in data modelling, including star schema, fact/dimension tables, relationships, and data marts.
Strong SQL skills, including query writing, optimisation, and validation of reporting datasets.
Hands-on experience with Power BI data models, relationships, semantic models, and report performance optimisation.
Experience working with Databricks SQL Warehouse and data governed through Unity Catalog.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, particularly Lakehouse/Warehouse and Power BI integration.
Ability to analyse existing reporting models, identify modelling issues, and recommend practical improvements.
Positive communication skills to work with business users, report developers, and data engineering teams.
