Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with 10+ years of expertise in the mechanical design and development of Power Distribution Centers (PDCs), Power Equipment Centers (PECs), Modular E-Houses, LV/MV Switchgear, Switchboards, and industrial electrical systems.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience working with switchgear manufacturers and possess in-depth knowledge of mechanical design, sheet metal fabrication, enclosures, busbars, and North American standards.

Ideal Candidate Profile
B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years of experience in MV/LV Switchgear Mechanical Design, preferably with a switchgear manufacturer.
Strong hands-on experience with various types of switchgear, switchboards, busbars, circuit breakers, protective relays, and LV/MV panels.
Excellent knowledge of sheet metal design, fabrication, enclosure design, and manufacturing processes.
Experience in reviewing vendor drawings,



technical documents, and engineering specifications.
Practical experience in designing Low-Voltage (LV), Medium-Voltage (MV), and High-Voltage (HV) switchgear and switchboards.
Proficiency in preparing detailed engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
Experience with LV/MV distribution panels, hybrid generator systems, recloser panels, transformers, electrical enclosures, and busbar systems.
Experience with products from Siemens, ABB, Schneider Electric, Eaton, or equivalent manufacturers is preferred.
Solid understanding of North American and Canadian standards, including UL, NEMA, and NEC.
Proficiency in 3D CAD/design software and related engineering tools.
