Job Summary
The Junior Engineer for Manufacturing Engineering Documentation is responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation to support production line efficiency, quality assurance, and New Product Introduction (NPI) cycles. This role involves close cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
Roles and Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will drive document compliance and production support through the following core duties:
1. Document Creation & Visual Guidance
Assembly Deliverables: Draft and update step-by-step Work Instructions (WI), Assembly & Disassembly Instructions (ADI), and Comprehensive Assembly Guides.
Quality & Logistics Controls: Create functional Checklists (CL), Packing Work Instructions,



and Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) documentation.
Visual Work Aids: Author clear visual workflows, process images, and Process Flow Charts to simplify complex assembly sequences for shop floor operators.
Exploded Views: Generate high-quality exploded assembly views and precisely map and identify discrete component part numbers.
2. Engineering Change & Configuration Control
Source Material Translation: Interpret and convert engineering drawings, 3D CAD files (EASM/STEP formats), and Bills of Materials (BOMs) into production-ready instructions.
BOM Verification: Audit and verify BOM accuracy against physical or digital designs prior to formal document release.
Revision Control: Process Engineering Change Notices (ECN) and Engineering Change Orders (ECO), updating active documents according to strict revision control protocols.
Standardization: Harmonize and standardize document layouts and formatting structures acro
