Position Details

Position: Structural Engineer – Material Handling
Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu
Industry: Power / Material Handling
Employment Type: Permanent
Experience: 08–15 Years
Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days

Key Requirements – Mandatory
✔ 08–15 years of relevant Structural Engineering experience
✔ Robust experience in Structural Steel & RCC Design
✔ Hands-on experience in STAAD.Pro
✔ Experience in Power Plant / Material Handling / Industrial / EPC Projects




✔ Design & analysis of Conveyor Galleries, Conveyor Supports & Transfer Towers
✔ Experience with Equipment Support Structures, Platforms, Walkways & Access Structures
✔ Knowledge of Bolted & Welded Steel Connections
✔ Structural analysis for Dead Load, Live Load, Equipment Load, Wind Load & Seismic Load
✔ Preparation and review of Structural Calculations, GA & Fabrication Drawings
✔ Knowledge of IS Codes, Design Standards & Engineering Specifications
✔ Coordination with Civil, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical & multidisciplinary teams

Qualification
? B.E./B.Tech – Civil / Structural Engineering
M.E./M.Tech in Structural Engineering will be an added advantage.
