Role Description The Safety Officer is a full-time, on-site role based at the Arjas Steel integrated plant in Andhra Pradesh, India. The Safety Officer will monitor and enforce health, safety, and security standards across the plant to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.



Daily responsibilities include conducting site inspections, identifying hazards, recommending corrective actions, and maintaining safety records and documentation. The role involves investigating accidents and near-misses, preparing incident reports, and coordinating with relevant teams to prevent recurrence. The Safety Officer will plan and deliver safety training sessions, support emergency preparedness drills, collaborate with operations and maintenance teams on safe work practices, and promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement throughout the facility.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Health & Safety and Occupational Health knowledge relevant to industrial and steel plant environments.
