Role Description

This is a full time, on-site role for an Assistant Professor based in Madurai. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for preparing and delivering lectures, creating course outlines, evaluating and guiding students' academic progress, assisting with curriculum development, and engaging in departmental activities. Additionally,



they are expected to participate in research and contribute to academic publications, while fostering a positive learning environment and mentoring students on their academic and career goals.
Qualifications

Strong subject matter expertise and teaching experience in the relevant discipline
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Research aptitude, including the ability to publish academic papers and stay updated with developments in the field
Proficiency in curriculum planning, lesson preparation, and use of educational tools
Commitment to student mentoring and fostering an inclusive academic environment
A minimum qualification of a Master's degree in the relevant field; a doctoral degree (Ph.D.) or NET/SET qualification is preferred
Prior teaching experience in higher education is an advantage
