Manager - Procurement

We are looking for an experienced Manager - Procurement to manage need-based procurement of packing materials, ensuring uninterrupted production while maintaining optimum inventory levels.

This role will work closely with vendors, Production, Quality, Registration, and other stakeholders to ensure timely material availability, manage packaging development and artwork requirements, resolve quality issues, and support compliance requirements for domestic and export markets.

What You'll Do

Plan and communicate packaging material requirements based on production plans, create POs, and ensure timely material availability while optimizing inventory.
Manage vendor relationships, including new vendor identification, development, negotiations, follow-ups, and coordination for timely deliveries.
Drive packaging quality and development activities, including rejection management, RCA-CAPA closure, artwork coordination, shade-card approvals,



and maintaining relevant records.
Manage packaging compliance requirements, including UN certifications, CIB/BIS and manufacturing licence-related requirements, while supporting export readiness.

What We're Looking For

Post Graduate Diploma in Packaging with 4–6 years of experience in packaging development and/or procurement.
Strong knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, cost structures, and vendor management.
Understanding of CIB, BIS, manufacturing licences, registration requirements, and UN certification processes.
Strong negotiation, communication, coordination, and follow-up skills with the ability to work effectively across functions and vendors.
Excellent Excel skills, with knowledge of GST structures and a strong focus on cost optimization and inventory management.
