Key Responsibilities:
Administer, monitor, and maintain AIX/UNIX servers in enterprise environments.
Perform installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting of AIX systems.
Manage user accounts, file systems, LVM, NIM, and system performance tuning.
Monitor system availability, security, backups, and storage utilization.
Collaborate with application, database, and infrastructure teams to resolve server-related issues.
Support incident management, root cause analysis, and capacity planning activities.
Required Skills:
3-7 years of hands-on experience in AIX Administration.
Robust knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating systems, shell scripting, and system troubleshooting.
Experience with LVM, NIM, HACMP/PowerHA, system monitoring, and patch management.
Good understanding of server performance tuning, backup, and recovery processes.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
