? We're Hiring: Engine & Powertrain Subject Matter Expert (Commercial Vehicles)
Someone who has worked across the full spectrum of Engine and Powertrain systems in the commercial vehicle domain.
? What we're looking for:
A Subject Matter Expert with strong, hands-on experience across most/all of the following:
Engine • Engine architecture & design (combustion, cooling, lubrication systems) • Fuel systems – diesel/CNG/alternate fuels, injection systems • Air management – turbocharging, EGR, intake/exhaust systems • Engine calibration & performance development • Emission control & compliance (BS6/Euro/EPA norms) • Engine testing & validation (durability, performance, NVH) • Engine controls & ECU/software integration
Powertrain • Transmission systems – manual, AMT, automatic • Driveline & axle systems • Clutch systems • Powertrain integration & matching (engine-transmission-driveline) • Hybrid/e-powertrain exposure (added advantage) • Powertrain NVH,



durability & reliability testing • Powertrain controls & calibration
? Ideal Candidate: ✅ 15+ years of experience in Commercial Vehicle Engine/Powertrain domain ✅ Exposure across design, development, testing, and validation — not siloed to one function ✅ Strong understanding of regulatory/emission norms applicable to commercial vehicles ✅ Experience working with OEMs/Tier-1 suppliers in the CV space ✅ Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally with design, testing, and manufacturing teams
? Preferably Chennai, but not key
