About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated GoLang Intern to join our backend engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who has strong hands-on experience with Golang and backend development through academic projects, personal projects, open-source contributions, or prior internship experience.
We are looking for candidates with a strong practical understanding of Go and backend engineering fundamentals who can independently work on well-defined backend tasks and contribute to production-quality systems under the guidance of experienced engineers.
You will have the opportunity to work on scalable APIs, microservices, databases, distributed systems, and cloud-native technologies while collaborating with experienced backend engineers.
Key Skills
Solid hands-on knowledge of Golang
Good understanding of Go fundamentals, including:
Goroutines and concurrency
Channels and synchronization
Interfaces and composition
Error handling
Structs, pointers, and packages
Go modules and dependency management
Context and cancellation




Experience building RESTful APIs using frameworks such as Gin, Echo, or Fiber
Good understanding of HTTP, JSON, authentication, API design, and status codes
Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
Familiarity with database indexing, transactions, joins, and query optimization
Understanding of Redis and caching concepts
Exposure to messaging systems such as Kafka, NATS, or RabbitMQ is a plus
Good understanding of Git, branching, pull requests, and code reviews
Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications
Exposure to AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus
Understanding of unit testing in Go, including Go's testing package and Testify
Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and debugging backend applications
Basic understanding of microservices and distributed systems is highly desirable
