Role Overview:

The Credit Underwriter Construction Finance will be responsible for evaluating, analyzing, and approving credit proposals related to construction and real estate financing.



The role demands robust financial acumen, risk assessment capabilities, and expertise in underwriting structured credit for developers, contractors, and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Credit Appraisal & Risk Assessment:
- Evaluate and make construction finance proposals including developer loans, project financing, and structured credit facilities.
- Conduct detailed analysis of borrower financials, project cash flows, repayment capacity, and collateral valuation.
- Assess market risks, regulatory compliance, and project viability.

2. Due Diligence & Documentation:
- Perform due diligence on legal, technical, and financial aspects of projects.
- Review title documents, approvals, and statutory clearances.
- Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and RBI/NBFC guidelines.

3. Portfolio & Risk Monitoring:
- Monitor sanctioned projects for progress, fund utilization, and repayment sche
