Key Responsibilities
• Manage end-to-end procurement activities as per production and material requirements.
• Plan and execute procurement of raw materials, components, bought-out items, consumables, packaging and engineering materials.
• Review MRP/PR/indents and convert requirements into timely purchase actions.
• Coordinate with PPC, Production,



Stores, Quality, Engineering and Accounts for uninterrupted material availability.
• Identify, evaluate and develop new vendors based on quality, capability, capacity, cost and delivery performance.
• Manage RFQs/RFIs, quotations, comparative statements and techno-commercial evaluations.
• Negotiate price, payment terms, MOQ, credit period, lead time, freight and other commercial conditions.
• Prepare, release and monitor Purchase Orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor supplier performance based on Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD).
• Develop alternate sources to minimize supply-chain risks.
• Support cost reduction, value engineering and procurement optimization initiatives.
• Maintain proper procurement documentation, vendor records and commercial data.
• Coordinate with Stores and Accounts regarding GRN, invoice discrepancies and payment-related issues.
