Role Description The General Manager – Payable is a full-time, on-site role based in Raipur, responsible for overseeing the entire accounts payable function for Vandana Global’s multi-vertical operations. The role includes managing vendor payments, reviewing and approving invoices, monitoring payment cycles, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and applicable regulations.



The General Manager – Payable will coordinate with procurement, finance, and operational teams to resolve discrepancies, optimize working capital, and maintain strong vendor relationships. Day-to-day tasks involve supervising the payable team, analyzing payable reports, implementing process improvements, and supporting audits and financial closing activities. The role also requires developing and enforcing policies, mentoring team members, and contributing to strategic decisions related to cash flow and cost control.
Qualifications

Robust expertise in accounts payable management, including invoice processing, vendor reconciliation, and payment scheduling.
Proficiency in financial accounting, general ledger processes, and closing activities, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Experience with ERP/accounting software, Excel, and financial reporting tools to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
