We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Tax Operations Manager. You’ll support the operational tax processes and controls for securities tax within our Wealth & Trading team. You will be responsible for executing on withholding and reporting obligations and performing controls across the operational tax lifecycle, with a focus on transactions taxes and controls to support the U.S. qualified intermediary regime.

Key responsibilities
Ownership of payment and reporting obligations associated with transaction taxes and stamp duty.
Controls on QI/QDD lifecycle, ensuring compliance across reference data, withholding, payment and reporting lifecycle
Support withholding tax relief at source and reclaims of firm positions




Support information reporting and associated controls related to tax product offerings

What you'll need
Experience in securities tax operations with a financial institution.
Positive understanding and practical experience with the U.S. QI/QDD regime
Experience with management of payment and reporting of financial transaction taxes
Proficiency with data tooling such as SQL, Excel, BI tools, and Python
Experience with custody environment, knowledge of settlements and corporate actions.
Control orientated background.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent time management tracking skills.
Experience in improving and enhancing controls and governance is a plus.
