Responsibility
Analyze met-mast, LiDAR and other wind measurement data. Perform data validation, filtering, gap filling and quality checks.
Conduct short-term and long-term wind resource assessment.
Perform MCP (Measure-Correlate-Predict) analysis using suitable long-term reference datasets.
Evaluate terrain, roughness, elevation and wind characteristics.
Support wind-flow modeling using WAsP / WindSim / OpenWind or equivalent tools
Calculate Gross AEP and Net AEP.Evaluate wake, availability, electrical, environmental, curtailment and other project losses.
Support feasibility studies and new-site screening.
Prepare WRA, wind-data analysis and energy-yield reports.
Review external WRA and energy-yield reports.
Positive communication and coordination skills for working with OEMs, consultants,
developers, independent engineers and internal project teams
Follow applicable IEC standards and industry best practices for wind measurement and energy assessment.
Education And Experience
B E/B-Tech-Electrical/Mechanical + MTech-Energy
5+yrs of experience Wind Energy / Renewable Energy
