About the Role
This role owns organic visibility and website technical health: SEO strategy, WordPress site management, and keyword research - working closely with the Content Strategist, who writes the copy this role optimizes.
You will be the named owner of website QA: if something breaks or reads wrong on the live site, that's on this role. We also want someone genuinely curious about AI search (AEO/GEO) - we are not expecting deep mastery, since it's a new discipline, but we do expect real experimentation and a point of view, not a buzzword on a resume.

Key Responsibilities
Own technical and on-page SEO: keyword research, site audits, schema, Core Web Vitals, Search Console monitoring
Own WordPress website hygiene - updates, QA before anything goes live, error resolution within 48 hours.Elementor knowledge will be add on.
Guide the Content Strategist on keyword targeting and content structure (does not write the content directly)




Track and report organic performance (traffic, rankings, indexation) monthly
Experiment with and document AEO/GEO practices -how RAG appears in AI-generated search answers

Must-Have Skills
Demonstrated technical SEO experience -able to speak specifically to audits, keyword clustering, and on-page fixes personally executed
Strong working knowledge of WordPress (content structure, plugins, troubleshooting)
Working knowledge of an SEO/keyword tool (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Ubersuggest, or similar) and Google Search Console
Solid written English - you'll be reviewing and briefing content, not just running audits
Genuine, hands-on curiosity about AI search tools and how they're changing discovery

Nice-to-Have
Early hands-on experimentation with AEO/GEO-specific practices
Basic HTML/CSS familiarity
