Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented English to Hindi Translator for our documentaries and films division. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of both languages and a deep understanding of cultural nuances. The role involves translating scripts, dialogues, and subtitles from English to Hindi, ensuring accuracy, context preservation, and fluency.
Key Responsibilities:
Translate scripts, dialogues, and subtitles from English to Hindi for documentaries and films.
Proofread and edit translations to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to the original meaning.
Strong understanding of both English and Hindi grammar, vocabulary, and cultural references, with the ability to translate expressions that include Urdu words for linguistic depth and cultural authenticity.
Conduct Hindi quality checks (QC) for translated content to maintain high standards.
Collaborate with directors, producers, and editors to ensure the translations align with the creative vision of the project.
Maintain and update a glossary of terms to ensure consistency across projects.




Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.
Proven experience in English to Hindi translation, preferably in the film or documentary industry.
Strong understanding of both English and Hindi grammar, vocabulary, and cultural references.
Attention to detail and a passion for accuracy in translation.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
Familiarity with subtitling software and translation tools is a plus.
Salary Package:
₹3,00,000 to ₹4,80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
