About the Role
We are looking for a SQL Developer Intern to join our remote data and development team. This internship will provide hands-on experience in SQL development, database management, data querying, optimization, and database design.
You’ll work with databases and real-world data while learning how to write efficient queries, manage data, and support application and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Write and maintain SQL queries for data retrieval and analysis
Create and manage database tables, views, and relationships
Perform data insertion, updating, deletion, and validation




Work with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server
Develop complex queries using joins, subqueries, CTEs, and aggregate functions
Create and maintain stored procedures, functions, and triggers
Perform data cleaning and transformation using SQL
Identify and troubleshoot data inconsistencies
Optimize SQL queries for better performance
Assist with database design and normalization
Support data migration and database maintenance activities
Generate reports and datasets for internal teams
Document database structures, queries, and processes
Collaborate with developers, data analysts, and other team members
What We're Looking For
Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL
Understanding of relational database concepts
Familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server
