Role Description The Chef at The Fries Empire will be responsible for preparing and cooking loaded fries, comfort food items, and café-style dishes according to TFE’s recipes and quality standards. Daily tasks include managing kitchen operations, coordinating food preparation, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation, and maintaining high hygiene and safety standards. The Chef will oversee inventory for ingredients, assist with menu execution, support new dish development,



and collaborate with the team to deliver a smooth service during peak hours. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chandigarh, requiring presence during restaurant operating hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.
Qualifications

Strong skills in hot kitchen operations, frying techniques, and preparation of loaded fries and comfort food.
Experience in menu execution, portion control, and maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen cleanliness practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage time effectively, and handle multiple orders simultaneously.
Experience leading or supporting a kitchen team, with good communication and collaboration skills.
Basic understanding of inventory management, stock rotation, and minimizing food waste.
Prior experience in cafés, casual dining, or quick-service restaurants is an advantage.
