Role Description The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, general ledger entries, and reconciliation of accounts. Duties include preparing and reviewing invoices, tracking expenses, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with monthly and annual closing activities. The role also involves preparing financial reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations.



The Accountant will collaborate with internal teams to provide accurate financial information for decision-making and may support external audits and tax filings. This is a full-time, on-site role based at World Center India’s facility in Ahmedabad.
Qualifications
Strong skills in financial accounting, bookkeeping, and general ledger management.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, including use of formulas and reporting tools.
Ability to prepare financial statements, management reports, and support budgeting and forecasting.
Knowledge of local accounting regulations, taxation principles, and audit practices.
Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
