About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Admissions Counsellor to support our Counselling team at the VFS Global Academy, Dehradun. This is an entry-level role focused on lead follow-up, meeting scheduling, and record-keeping, with on-the-job training and mentorship to help you grow into a full counselling consultant role over time.

Key Responsibilities:
Follow up with prospective student leads through calls and emails
Schedule client meetings for the senior counsellor
Sit in on meetings, take notes and maintain records of each interaction
Maintain and update online records of enquiries, follow-ups, and enrollments
Support the senior counsellor with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks
Learn the fundamentals of student counselling through shadowing and on-the-job training

What We're Looking For:
Minimum qualification: Graduate, any discipline
Location Requirements: Dehradun, in-person
Language Requirements: Fluency in both Hindi and English (knowledge of more languages is a plus)
Comfortable making calls and writing professional emails




Self motivated and takes initiative
Strong computer literacy (spreadsheets, email, online record-keeping)
Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to follow through on tasks
Good communication skills and a willingness to learn
Genuine interest in eventually moving into a senior academic counselling role
