At Orah, we're building technology that helps schools keep students safe and gives parents greater confidence in knowing where their children are. Our platform is growing rapidly, particularly across North America, and we're continuing to build our engineering team to support that growth.
We're inviting expressions of Interest from talented Full Stack Software Engineers across India who may be interested in joining Orah as opportunities arise.
This isn't necessarily an immediate vacancy. Instead, we're looking to connect with excellent engineers now so that when the right opportunity becomes available, we already know the people we'd love to speak with.
What you'll be doing
As a Full Stack Software Engineer at Orah, you'll be an integral part of our engineering team, working across customer-facing products and internal systems.
You'll have the opportunity to:
* Own and deliver end-to-end features and projects
* Work across both frontend and backend systems
* Contribute to architecture,
system design and technical decisions
* Work closely with Product, Design and other engineering teams
* Help improve code quality, development practices and engineering standards
* Mentor and support other developers as you grow within the team
* Contribute to longer-term technical initiatives, internal tooling and architectural improvements
* Have an impact beyond your individual contributions by helping the team build better and move faster
What we're looking for
We're interested in engineers who:
* Have 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
* Have experience building and maintaining production software
* Are comfortable working across the full stack and navigating complex systems
* Have a solid understanding of software architecture and design principles
* Can make pragmatic technical decisions and understand trade-offs
* Enjoy working closely with Product, Design and other engineering te
