Role Description The Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at The Stadel Hotel in Kolkata. This role is responsible for driving room, event, and membership sales by identifying current business opportunities, nurturing existing accounts, and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and event planners. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and cold calling,



conducting sales visits and property show-rounds, preparing proposals and contracts, and negotiating rates and packages in line with hotel policies. The Sales Manager will collaborate closely with the front office, reservations, events, and marketing teams to ensure seamless service delivery and maximize revenue. The role also involves tracking sales performance, preparing regular reports, participating in sales meetings, and representing the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking activities.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in hotel or hospitality sales, with proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and meet or exceed revenue targets.
Strong client relationship management skills, including account management, networking, and stakeholder communication in a fast-paced environment.
