We are currently looking for a Counselor for Professional Courses at our Bardhaman (West Bengal) location.
Responsibilities:
- Providing counseling to students on educational matters such as course and program selection, class scheduling, truancy, and career planning.
- Assisting individuals in understanding and overcoming personal, social, or behavioral issues affecting their educational or vocational situations.
- Maintaining accurate student records as required by laws, district policies, and administrative regulations.
- Collaborating with parents, guardians, trainers, other counselors, and administrators to resolve students' behavioral, academic, and other issues.
- Offering crisis intervention to students.
- Communicating with parents and guardians to discuss their children's progress and determine their priorities and resource needs.
- Preparing students for placements.
- Demonstrating proficiency in counseling and persuasion.
- Efficiently handling queries and providing support.
- Possessing excellent communication skills.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Education: BCA/MCA/BE/B.Tech (IT/CS)
- Relevant Experience: Minimum 6 months to 2 years
- Overall Experience: At least 2 years in counseling/telecounseling
- Good interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Graduate in any stream
- Knowledge of the Degree Program/Ed Tech Program Admission Ecosystem
