Roles & Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Support

Periodic Reporting: Regularly provide stakeholders with updates, key metrics, risk assessments, and milestone tracking.

Training & Adoption: Deliver training to ensure stakeholders effectively use products/services.

Feedback Mechanism: Collect and integrate stakeholder feedback to adjust project goals, test results, and performance outcomes.

Testing & Performance Management

Test Execution: Supervise end-to-end system testing, covering internal systems, third-party interfaces, and multi-layer interactions.

Performance Testing: Utilize tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, and Gatling to identify and resolve performance issues.

Root Cause Analysis: Monitor performance metrics (e.g., CPU, memory, response times) to identify issues.

Risk Management: Collaborate with teams to prioritize high-risk issues and manage technical challenges.

Test Data Requirements: Define and prepare necessary test data for testing.

Security & Vulnerability Management

Security Testing: Use tools such as OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, Nessus to scan for vulnerabilities like SQL injection, XSS, and CSRF.

Automated Security Testing: Automate vulnerability detection and testing to prevent recurrence.

Simulated Attacks: Conduct simulated attacks to assess system resilience and incident response.

Continuous Security Monitoring: Implement ongoing security monitoring tools post-deployment.

Security Vulnerability Reporting: Document vulnerabilities with details, logs, reproduction steps, and recommendations.

Testing Strategy & Compliance

Security Testing Strategy: Define and implement a security testing strategy aligned with project goals.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure systems comply with standards like GDPR, PCI DSS, and SOC2.

Performance Testing Strategy:



Perform a variety of performance tests to ensure reliability and scalability.

Test Scope Definition: Define the scope of testing for areas like authentication, encryption, and network security.

Threat Modeling: Proactively identify potential attack vectors through threat modeling.

Training, Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing

On-the-Job Training: Provide hands-on training on tools, technologies, and best practices.

Technical Guidance: Offer expertise on performance and security testing-related challenges.

Skill Upgradation: Keep up with emerging tools, technologies, and security trends.

Knowledge Repository: Contribute to building and maintaining a knowledge base of case studies and documentation.

Agile Coaching: Support teams with Agile practices and promote continuous improvement.

Tools & Technologies

Automation Tools: Expertise with Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, and PyTest for automated testing.

CI/CD Tools: Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps for continuous integration and deployment.

Performance Testing Tools: Proficiency in JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, k6, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.

API Testing Tools: Hands-on with Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI, and APIs (REST, SOAP, GraphQL).

Scripting: Strong in Java, Python, JavaScript, Bash, Shell, or PowerShell for test automation.

Database Management: Experience with SQL and No-SQL databases for testing purposes.

Version Control: Familiarity with Git for version control and collaboration.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Engagement

Team Collaboration: Work closely with development, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to align project goals.
