About the Role
Monk Media is looking for a creative Instagram Reel Script Writer who understands how to create content that grabs attention and drives engagement.
This role is ideal for someone who has experience writing short-form content for founders, business owners, coaches, and personal brands, and understands what works on Instagram today.

Responsibilities
Write engaging, high-retention Instagram Reel scripts.
Create compelling hooks that capture attention within the first few seconds.
Write content aligned with each client’s personal brand and communication style.
Research industry trends, audience pain points, and content opportunities.
Collaborate with the content strategy team to turn ideas into high-performing scripts.
Use AI tools to enhance research and efficiency, while ensuring scripts remain original,



strategic, and human-written.

Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience writing Instagram Reel or short-form video scripts.
Strong understanding of personal branding on Instagram.
Experience working with founders, entrepreneurs, business owners, or coaches.
Excellent storytelling and copywriting skills.
Strong understanding of hooks, retention strategies, and viral content frameworks.
Comfortable using AI as a productivity tool without relying on it to generate complete scripts.
A portfolio showcasing Instagram or personal branding content is mandatory.

Preferred
Experience contributing to the growth of Instagram personal brands.
Understanding of Instagram trends, audience psychology, and platform best practices.
Ability to adapt writing style based on different niches and creator personalities.
