Role Description The Assistant Manager Business Development – Automotive is a full-time, in office role based in Ahmedabad. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in the automotive electronics segment, building and maintaining relationships with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and other key stakeholders. Day-to-day activities include prospecting and qualifying leads,



preparing and presenting proposals, coordinating with internal engineering and production teams, and managing the sales pipeline to meet revenue targets. The role also involves conducting market and competitor analysis, participating in customer visits and industry events, and supporting contract negotiations to ensure profitable and sustainable business. The Assistant Manager is expected to maintain accurate reporting, provide regular updates to leadership, and contribute to strategic planning for the automotive vertical.
Qualifications
Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, relationship management, and negotiation in B2B or automotive sectors.
Knowledge of automotive electronics, EMS/PCB assembly processes, and an understanding of OEM and Tier 1 supplier requirements.
