Job Title: Software Development Engineer in Test II (SDET II)

About The Role

As an SDET II at GreyOrange, you will build and scale robust test automation frameworks for our AI-driven warehouse automation, robotics, and supply chain solutions. You will partner closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to design high-impact test strategies, execute automated workflows, and raise the bar for software reliability and performance across our platform.

Key Responsibilities

Framework Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and test suites using Python and Pytest.
Test Strategy & Execution: Create comprehensive test plans, execute manual/automated tests, analyze execution results, and track defects to resolution.
Developer Collaboration: Partner with software developers to understand core feature architecture, conduct code reviews, and drive Shift-Left testing.
CI/CD Integration:



Embed automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, reliable, and continuous quality checks.
Quality & Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the testing lifecycle and continuously optimize testing methodologies and coverage.
Mentorship & Governance: Provide technical guidance and best-practice mentorship to junior QA engineers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory Stack: Strong programming expertise in Python with hands-on experience using Pytest.
Test Automation: Solid experience architecting test automation frameworks across UI, API, and microservices (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, or requests).
CI/CD & DevOps: Familiarity with up-to-date CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and pipeline automation.
Data & Backend: Experience writing SQL queries for database validation and backend verification.
Core QA Expertise: Deep understanding of software test
