About the Role
Spocket is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with at least 8+ years (non-negotiable) of hands-on experience in Python and React to help drive our growing platform forward.
This is a hybrid role: you'll stay deep in the code while also owning technical planning, mentoring engineers, and acting as the key link between our CEO/Founder, Product Design, and the Engineering team.

What You'll Do
Turn business requirements into clear, actionable technical specs alongside a highly skilled engineering team
Own and drive the product and engineering roadmap from planning through execution
Lead, mentor, and support the engineering team, raising the bar on accountability and performance
Serve as the primary technical liaison between the CEO/Founder, Product Design, and Engineering
Translate business goals into concrete product and engineering priorities
Manage project timelines, sprint planning, resourcing, and delivery milestones
Collaborate cross-functionally with Development, Design, and Growth to build innovative, scalable solutions
Build and maintain key features across our existing platform
Identify current ways to improve customer experience and platform usability
Maintain and scale our current stack on an ongoing basis
Take full ownership of the code and the product you ship
What You Bring
At least 8+ years of full-stack development experience
6-8+ years working with React, Ruby or Python, TypeScript (a plus), and AWS (a plus)
A track record of shipping code quickly and iterating often
A customer-first mindset — you care about the experience you're building, not just the code behind it
High standards and low tolerance for the status quo
Self-motivation and genuine excitement about building both product and business
Comfort with ambiguity and fast-changing priorities
